or third investment property. Valencia, as opposed to other
areas of Spain offers property for sale at realistic prices.
Many area's of Spain have become expensive and in many cases
over priced. Due to a variety of reasons including the notorious
land crabbing rule (click for details), Valencia

Property
For Sale In Valencia....is it a good place for investment property?
The
Americas Cup Effect: With the announcement that Valencia
will host the 2007 America’s Cup and the expected 1.3
billion euros of investment, it will bring to the city
- there has never been a better time to buy property in Valencia.
The cup announcement has spurred national and regional government
into accelerating and expanding various infrastructure plans,
such as rebuilding the port area, extending the airport, and
completing a high-speed rail link to Madrid.
The creation of over 10.000 jobs will be a real boost to the
local economy and many suggest that the huge investment in
infrastructure promised by Spain had swayed the decision of
the America’s Cup Swiss organizers. Many predict that the
Cup will have the same dynamic impact on the Valencian economy
that the 1992 Olympic games had on Barcelona.
Nevertheless, wind and sea conditions were seen to be near
ideal during the race period and organizers announced that
good and predictable weather was a key factor in their decision.
Preliminary rounds begin in Valencia in the summer of 2004
with the final itself in 2007. If the defending Swiss team
retain the Cup, then the 2011 Cup may well be held in Valencia
too. See official web site here.
